Cane Corso puppies come in a short list of classic coats. The ones families ask about most are fawn, black, blue, and brindle. Color does not change the breed’s job. It does change the face you fall for.
Fawn and apricot
Fawn ranges from pale sand to a warmer apricot. Many fawn pups wear a black mask. Enzo, Bianca, Roy, Robbie, Luna, and Xena in our current group are this family of coats. They photograph like old Italian farm dogs — which is the point.
Black
A true black Corso is deep and clean, sometimes with a white chest flash. Hero is the clearest example on this site: black, cropped, ready now, with videos so you can see him move. Tonya, Jupiter, Bota, Una, and Honcho are also black.
Blue
Blue is a diluted black. In person it reads as a slate or steel gray. Bella, Gia, and Lucy are blue. Blue does not mean fragile. It means a different pigment. Buy the puppy, not the color trend.
Brindle
Brindle is stripes over a base. Thor and Raven are black brindle — dark coats with the striping visible in good light. Brindle is historic in the breed. It is not a rare gimmick.
Filter the puppy page by fawn, brindle, black, or blue. Then ignore the filter and read the temperament. A fawn girl who wants children and a black male who wants an experienced handler are different dogs even if they share a litter style.
